Hey,
I'm running an IBM Aptiva 500mhz with 192mb RAM and Windows XP Professional. For some reason, DivX's and SVCDs run very, very slow on my computer, no matter what program I use - WMP8, the original WMP, PowerDVD, or a couple third party programs. I don't know what to do! Can anyone please help me on how to speed up the playback of the aforementioned files?![]()

Not to act smart, but... duh. I close every program running on my computer, only have one movie program running, and it still runs too slow...

Duh, mayme because your computer is shitter than an Atari?

Open up your task manager and see what the CPU utilization is while these movies are playing slowly; it's probably 100%.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
