I am pretty sure that this is the wrong forum but I dno where to put it, i don't think it belong in the newbie forum so I decided to post here. Is it possible to have a background video playing with a menu for a vcd or svcd so that its animated sort of ?

Yes the vcd and svcd specs allow for moving menu's. I think the guides explain how to do this. Authoring moving menu's is really no different than static ones, you simply use an mpg as your source instead of a still pic.

It makes sense to, considering EasyVCD converts all still pictures to MPGs prior to burning. One would assume you could add your own MPGs and make sure you set them to an infinite loop.

If you use VCDwizard, you just have to add a MPeG which you want to use for your menu like any other movie.
Then create a SelectionList using this movie instead of using STILL, you usually would do.
