I've encoded a 90-minute film and it ended up at 760 MB.. which i thought would be fine for burning with Nero.
So.. I burned with Nero.. and it ended up way out of sync.
So I tried making an image file in VCDEasy and burning that, but the file came out as 860 MB and wouldn't fit onto the CDR. I played the CDR in my DVD player anyway, and the film played up until about the 81st minute (obviously the end of the CD)..
so, my problem lies with Nero.. is there a way to burn a file that big in VCDEasy?

Obviously VCDEasy / VCDImager is padding your non-compliant MPEG file. This is what is boosting the size.
You can get around this by remuxing the file first with TMPGEnc. Load the file up into "Multiplex" (under MPEG Tools) and change the setting to "MPEG-1 Video-CD (non-standard)".
When you load this file into VCDEasy, it won't autopad the file and the size won't balloon out.
