    I have the option to buy either LG DVD5083 or Samsung DVD S224, I want ease of use and VCD playback will be important (MP3 would be nice) have searched around for MR hacks and or Macrovision disables. At the moment the Samsung purchase looks favorable for future hacks (cant find at the moment). Your comments please.

    The samsung s224 is very easy to hack. Used it, worked fine, and havent had a problem since. Choose region 9 and youre set to play dvds from any region what so ever.
