Jurassic Park 3 on Toshiba SD3107(e) help ?

Hi all,

When i play Jurassic Park 3 on my Toshiba SD3107(e) it plays but it is like , blocky , if you get what i mean , the picture goes dodgey every 2 seconds and so does the sound ? so it plays fine for 2 secs then goes dodgey and so on ? what is the matter with it ? i used Imation CD-RW 1X-4X Compatible 650MB/74 min cd and the burner i used was a plextor plexwriter 12/10/32A please tell me whats wrong and what i can do to get it to play.

Try burning again at the slowest speed and turn off any programs which are running in the background, like your anti-virus (hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to close them).

Your problem is that CD-RW media really doesn't like fast speed recording for VCD, so slow it down and your problems should clear up.

You will find this problem with downloaded images from time to time. The easiest solution is to create the bin and cue, and then use cd mage to extract the dat files (mpegs). Use Nero 5.0 not 5.5 to burn a standards compliant vcd with the .dat (Mpeg) you extracted.

I have had images that are bad even at a 1 time burn, but work flawlessy with this solution.
