  1. hi,

    is there a way to only rip the audio from an dvd without
    ripping all vobs again

    i tryed on smartripper, but when i uncheck the video source
    and only the audiostream, it doest work

    I don't think you can extract just the audio from a DVD without ripping the whole vobs.

    If ya just want the audio stream, I usually rip the whole film/track/chapter etc... but when I encode it, I use a V.V.V.Low bitrate ie 10 kbs, that way the avi is 'bout 20mb ish but I have the complete audio stream.

    dvd2avi projekt with audio stream and resample that with tmpeg
    to my format

    You can do it. In smartripper go to the stream processing tab, check "enable stram processing", uncheck all streams except the one audio stream. Click on it so it is blue coloured, then select demux to extra file.

  5. get a program called dvd to mp3 it plays the dvd and saves the sound to mp3 u can chose which bits u want very handy ive got it and it works only cost a few quid or it was free i never pay more than a tenner for sommin like that ive got the program if u cant d/l it anymore im not sure if the company is still in buisnes let me know
