Apex 1200 VS DaeWoo 3000N

I want a dvd player and $100 is my limit. I wanted to know which of the two dvd players in the subject are better? or if anybody knows a dvd player that is better that i can get for $100 or less please let me know. I want to watch vcd's and svcd's and i will hopefully get a dvd burner so which is the most compatable? thanx in advance.

i have an apex ad-1200 and it plays everything great but apparently the new apex's dont support vcd anymore. id go for the daewoo..

Ok i got an apex ad 1200 v2.12 and I like it a lot its great but I was having a problem playing a boot leg spider man dvd that i know works because it works in my uncles dvd player. But it skips and than freezes on my apex. But other than that the dvd player is great. I even made an svcd from an avi but i must have converted it wrong because when it shows up on my screen the length is too long. what ratio should i change it too the original ratio is 450x450? I use TMPGEnc to convert. Thanx in advance for any help
