DVD2SVCD (no Image is generated-Help)

I've the same problem on a machine I installed DVD2SVCD Build3:

VCDIMAGE does not work.. seems that is is not run, no matter if VCDImager or VCDXbuild is choosen, whats up?

From the logfile it says "Imagecreation finished", but no cue/bin files avaiable. BBMPEG runs well. So what's up.

Checked everything: Files/Path.. what am I doing wrong.

On another machine it works well (build2) so I installed build2 on the build3 to see if this helps, but it doesn't

I've no clue at the moment.

@jcee: I have a similar problem, I was using I-author though and it didn't make the .cif image files. I'm thinking there is some bug in DVD2SVCD, but I'm not sure as it could be my computer or versino of image s/w. Try to diagnose a bit (see below) and post the results as I'm very interested in solving this problem.

PS (Would help to have your DVD2SVCD log!!!)

Try to manually create the image files using VCDeasy and adding the bbmpeg generated files. If it works, then it's something in your DVD2SVCD setup or perhaps BBMEPG or a bug with image creation. If it doesn't (mpeg file not valid or other error) you could have had a problem with VCDImage creation or even BBMPEG generation and the DVD2SVCD log mislead you to think everything finished fine (this happened to me with I-author iamge creation).

Another thing to check is to go into bbmpeg and try to manually re-mux the files using the bbmpeg settings from your DVD2SVCD log. See whether bbmpeg finishes cleanly and whether the file sizes are exactly the same.
