So in order to spoof my DVD player so it will play my SVCDs i have added an VCD header with TMPGEnc and my Sony plays the disks. My only problem is that by adding this header I now throw th voice/video out of sync. I have searched and searched for articles pertaining to this but nothing hits it on the head. Do I need cut out the same amount of space at the beginning of the DVD that the VCD header has inserted to resync the audio? Or is there better way to spoof my DVD player without throwing in the sync problem. Movie plays great and I have no sync problem before I add the VCD header.

Have you selected "MPEG-1 VCD"? Because I get a/v desync when selecting VCD Non-Standard, but the standard single-multiplexing works well, no desync
