  1. ... i have a clip. i figured out how to split it now how can i move it over creating a space to insert say a still image

  2. The manual for UVS6 is kind of thin (or totally absent if you have a trial or bundled version, but it is pretty simple. If you havent done so already, cut your segment where you want to place your insert. Go to storyboard view (it is far easier than timeline view for this procedure) and insert your clip/image. Drag it where you want it (you already made the cut, right?) and there it is.
    As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. yes i have tried that and clip doesnt move... ie i would like to slide it about 3 seconds worth from front to add fade in and title ok maybe 5 secs... instead the bar appears and it shrinks size of clip from front.

  4. I think I see what you mean. You might try adding a "color" (black in this case), then inserting a crossfade effect between the back and the video. You can tune the length of the static black clip and also the length of the crossfade to mesh with whatever you have in the title track.

    thx i will try that... i had another program moviestar (from dazzle) you could just select clip with shift key held and move it whereever.. i guess i m getting 2 mixed up
