ATI MMC 7.7 picture is not as good as 7.6

I made some capture's and 7.7 I think is more block then 7. Can any one else say the same I know 7.7 does DVD and SVCD and audio at 48. but I real think the picture is better in 7.6?

Are you using the default presets, or a custom one ?

The default presets seem to be more conservative in 7.7 (default motion estimation setting is lower on P3).

If anything, the quality seems better in some cases on my system, especially during scene changes, although overall it's pretty much the same.

In 7.7 the automatic file splitting feature to break up a long capture into multiple files does not work. In 7.6 it does. I am sticking with MMC7.6 for now.
