I have a PAL DVD from the UK and I cant watch it. I have an Apex AD-1200 and even though everyone and there mother tells me I can hack it and make it Region Free, I cants. I open the tray, press 8, 4, 2, 1 and nothing happens - no secret menu - nothing. the v211 and the v212 can be hacked according to a website but the v213 cannot be hacked. i have the v213. so, as you can imagine, i am MAD.

i have a chance to buy an Apex AD-1225 DVD player at my local Walmart. Can someone please tell me if this player is Region Free or can it be made region free by hacking?
