I noticed that there are certain amounts of noise that can be seen on my TV captures that I contribute to interferance from the other components in my computer. I was wondering if anyone has tried to manually shield their capture card? My capture card (the AverTV Stereo) looks like it just has an bare piece of metal that transfers the composite analog signal to the ADC. Does anyone know of a site that talks about what one would have to do in order to shield their card?
Thanks.

Probable not a lot you can do, even if the whole card was incased in a grounded metal box, the interference would be picked from signals jumping tracks.
If you were knowledgeable with electronics, you might be able to decouple the input lines on the card with tantalum bead capacitors, which might reduce the problem.
Do you use short leads of good quality for signal in.
