  1. On some dvd's there ia a 2ch and a 6ch track...
Do I have to keep them both if I rip a dvd?
-> does a stereo system plays 6ch tracks correct? and if yes what's the use of a 2ch audio track ?

    Thx

  2. The 2 and 6 channel streams are there for compatability. Some people are still living in the dark ages and only have a two speaker setup. (I was one of them until recently) The rest of us who have a 5.1 channel home theater setup use the 6 channel stream. The one you keep depends on your setup and your requirements.

Oh. One more thing. How you rip the movie will ultimately dictate if you can keep more than one audio stream.

  3. What channels will ultimately be kept and played if you use
the six channel audio (LF, RF, CF, LR, RR, SUB) ?
I have been told that there are limitations on what VCD's can
    hold.
