Newbie Needs Help with Oritron DVD100

Ok, I have been trying to put in the VCD code and the Region Hack Code. But neither of them seem to work for me.

For the VCD Code I put:
Music CD goes in, and I play it for a few seconds.
STOP
MENU
9
INDEX
EJECT

And nothing happens, it just ejects the CD. No menu, nothing.

For the Region Hack I put:
No CD.
MENU
1
6
7
MUTE

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Well, ok.. I got the Region Hack to work.. But the VCD Code still won't

I am gonna be going out to get some more CD's. I doubt anyone will Reply in time, but what CD's will work for this player? And are there any special encoding options I will need to use in either TMPGEnc or Nero?
