Ok guys, tell us what type of DVD-Rs you use and how much per disc. I want to get a list of all the media you have success with and all the ones that are bad so we can decide what to buy before spending $$$ on 100pcs of DVD-Rs that are no good.

So far I 've been using memorex DVD-R's which are great and I had success everytime but they cost me about $8 per disc. I'm trying to find what other type is good enough for this that is much cheaper.

  4. check out www.hypermicro.com they got some good generic dvd-r's for 190$ for 100 of them. i tested them on a apex, sony, sanyo and my pioneer , they all played flawlesly. the only draw back is they only burn at 1x.

  5. www.esbuy.com General Gold for 1.90...I haven't had problems with those. Make sure they are the gold and not the silver
