    i understand there is a crack out there that will let me capture @
    480 x 480, if there is such a thing does anyone know where i
    can download it??

    any help would be great.

    I am currently using Cyberlink Power Director 2.0 Pro to capture TV show and DVD movies in SVCD format (480x480) and the quality is good if the bitrate is set as 2500 or above.

    You do not need to edit your registry or apply any patch to capture in SVCD mode.
