  1. i have used the search but to no avail
    i have a avi file with ac3 sound on it , i dont really want o mess about trying to convert in virtual dub and then tmpg. The file plays all right in media player or an of the other players , but when i come to burn i its upside down, i have reinstalled all the codecs for div x to no avail the only 1 have have not is ac3 sound codec wich is a bitch to install ! so my problem probably lies with nero 5.5 or my op which is XP,no other files have ever done this just this 1 ??????
    please help a retard today

    I'm afraid that you won't be able to get around going back through vdub and tmpgenc if you're converting to ((x)(s))vcd but if you're burning a divx movie to a disc then you've got something wrong.

    I've experienced this same problem converting divx to wmv or rm...
