  1. The movie contains 3 CD's.
I have read the how to's and User Guide's to do this, but unfortunatly it doesn't work.
Here is my problem i mounted the image via Daemon Tools on a virtual drive. The first SVCD contains the movie and one "commercial by the creator of the SVCD". Now when i use DVD2AVI and convert the commercial mpg into a DVD2AVI project (one *d2v file and one audio file)and then use TMPGEnc to convert into a mpg which Nero 5.5.8.2 can burn on a VCD and play it in my DVD-PLayer it plays the movie Perfect ! But When i try to do this with the actual movie file on the SVCD it goes wrong.
First i follow the same way as with the "commercial" DVD2AVI converts the movie into two file's (which are rather small and which took about 3 min. for 790 MB?) and when i try to run them in TMPGEnc the program says the file is corrupted or unsupported????
Now i have tried the following :
    - I think it has something to do with the SVCD movie file has to be in the same folder as the two file's made by DVD2AVI ?? maybe???
I tried to copy the SVCD movie file to my HD but at the end it says "bad parameter" and does not copy the file.
I tried with WINISO to extract the SVCD on my HD but when i play the m ovie in DVD2AVI in turns into a green Screen ????
    - Is it a sort of security on the SVCD ??
There's another problem when i try to convert the SVCD movie file with DVD2AVI it looks when the estimated time is 0:00 that the program is still running because after this i tried to open TMPGEnc and it doesn't respond??
(This is the same story for the other SVCD's

  2. I don't know if this will work as there seems to be a problem with one of your discs but this is the method I used for Spidey.
Convert SVCD mpegs with to Divx with Vidomi. Strip wav. from Divx using Virtual Dub and then apply both files to TMPGEnc with Divx as video source.
Don't know if this works straight from disc as I had SVCD files on hard drive.
    Hope it helps.
    Good luck.
