    B-Movies are movies that have no major studio support behind them. They have small budgets and must rely more on word of mouth than advertisments. All troma team releases(Toxic Advenger, Tromeo & Juliet) are considered B-Movies. They don't have to be released straight to video, in fact most Troma movies are releaed in theaters, but only a few select local ones get to see it.

    I imagine it'll be very hard to find software that you can dl them off of. However if you don't mind spending the money I know Best Buy has most troma team releases on VHS, and even a few on DVD.
