hi there..
well i would like to ask that when ripping the dvd ...can i like rip the first few parts cos if there is not enough diskspace on my com and convert the first few parts to mpeg then to vcd??

You can rip individual chapters using smartripper. You can pick which chapters you want to rip and then just rip those chapters.
