Hi, I just bought myself a pinnacle pctv pro and I want to capture at svcd pal 480x576.
Everytime I go in to virtual dub and select "Capture avi" nothing at all shows up. Even though the drivers and so forth are installed..
Any help would be great thanks![]()

I don't understand what you mean about seeing nothing. For capturing from tv, tun the PCTV Vision program, or whatever you use for tv and set the channel. Then exit and run virtualdub again.

I did that when I do that nothing at all comes up when I go to "capture avi"
Even when I go to Video pctv does not show up although on the pctv rave everything comes up -
Ok here is what I do
Tuned in channels using PCTV Vision
Now I go in to virtual dub and select File then Capture from Avi
I get this
As you can see from the pic above nothing but static shows up. but when I go in to PCTV Vision the channel shows up right away
Ok I then went to "Capture" and I looked at the bottom and it only gives me some microsoft thing (see pic)
My brother used to use a PCTV rave and his card or driver or whatever it was showed up under that Microsoft WDM Image capture codec..
Any idea where I am going wrong? -
