  1. I must be stupid or something, but I bought the Apex 1200 and I can;t get any of my vcds or svcds to work. I put the disc in it says svcd and then it just stops. I never see any video. I have a 1500 and a 600 and they work perfect with everything I throw at it, does anyone have any advice.

  2. i have one and haven't had a problem. see if you can return it for another one. i like the 1200 models.

  3. Hey man but the Apex AD-1200 is the shit. Awsome player. Never had one prblem with it. Maybee u got a defect. Try to return for another.

  5. I tried 3 different 1200's - none of them would play SVCD. VCD only would play. I have an Apex 5131 and it plays everything. I ended up getting a Mintek 1600 which will not play SVCD either but would play CD-ROM with MPEG's on them for my Parrents DVD player. It could handle High Bitrate MPEG's this way and is 59 dollars at Best Buy!

  6. Maybe it's the way I right it, but it works with my other apex players. I doesn't play xvcds either.
