Trying to convert a 6hr DVD(US) to VCD, problem when using EZ DVD2VCD, when creating a project file etc: The video side of it seems to work fine when converted to mpeg, but the sound only plays for 6.5mins, then nothing for the rest of the film. The sound file created(wav) is about 3.5Gb in size, but when played(WinAmp etc), the length is only 6.5mins? Any idea what could be causing this? I converted a 93min film with no problems (R2)

I think it's to do with the file sizes, being close to 4Gb. As a test I ran it to over 6.5mins into the movie, about 30mins, & it works fine.
Possible solution is to split the decoding i.e do the 1st half of vob files, then the second half, so u have 2 smaller wav files & 2 project files. Seems to be working

Any advice would be appretiated guys!!

Update.. Created x2 project files & wav files; the first encodes to VCD with no problems. The second has no sound at all, TMPGEnc can't load it in. In - setting > advanced > audio effects - u can't play it, play length is 10sec??? Works okay if u load the 1st wav file in with the 2cd video source The actual 2cd wav file looks fine, plays, correct length, etc.
