I was looking at the guides, saw the one about ripping a DVD directly to VCD without using any hard drive space (other than the MPG file). Since I have a laptop with only 6 gigs free, I want to attempt this but the person who wrote the guide put a disclaimer saying DVDROM drives can burn out doing it this way. Has anyone ever done it this way, and had good results? Let me know. Thanks
