If i start of with a NTSC divx file do i have to keep it NTSC all the way through encoding and burning, or can i change it to PAL somewhere along the way.
I have one of those annoying cd and dvd writers where you can only change the region 5 times. Does the region setting have any influence on whether I burn to NTSC or PAL format, and then again when i play-back on the same drive??? Please help.

Its best to change it to Pal as early as possible if you want PAL.
Region doesn't have any effect on Pal or NTSC, since that's mostly to deal with what kind of TV you have. You can play a Pal disc in an NTSC drive but you wont get a picture on TV.
