Need Help cleaning my car's cd player.

Hi, i recently started having problems playing cds in my aiwa car cd-player. Before the cd player would play burned cds and regular cds. Now though it only plays some regular cds and it doesn't let me skip to differnt tracks. Very annoying! I have tried a cd lens cleaner that didnt seem to work. Any other ideas on how i could clean the cd player would be great. The cd player also is about 3 years old. Thanks

Any chance of removing it and taking it to a dealer?

yup i had similar problems with my pioneer. I have this feeling you have to put the cd's in label side up wich means that the lens sits on the bottom collecting lots of dust when turning the fan on. I had to pull out the whole unit and clean the lens with a long qtip with some alcohol. This worked for me. garman http://forum.vcdhelp.com/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
