Can't play VCD on Toshiba SD-1300. Please help!

I Try to author VCDs and play them on my new Toshiba SD-1300.
The player recognizes the VCD immedietly but the video goes jittering, with lots of blocks, noise and color missing. The audio plays fine but it's out of sync.
I use TMPGEnc to encode the MPG file, in a standard VCD format (using all the default settings). I also used Ulead media studio for that mather.
I use NERO 5.5.5.1 to burn. I also used Roxio easy CD creator 5.
I use high quality medias - TDK, SONY, GPT, VERBATIM (650M and 700M).
I wasted more than 10 CDRs so far and still couldn't resolve the problem. :cry:
Can someone help!?
Could it be a malfunction in the DVD player?

Turned out to be a malfunctioned player (decoder) problem.
Issue resolved.
