  1. ok im trying to fit one large dvd to 2 dvdr and im using ifoedit, done eveythings rite til the almost end (That's it!

Save this IFO file now, and repeat the same steps for Disc2.

Now, close IfoEdit, and start it again, to do a 'Get VTS Sectors' on both disc-folders.

You are now ready to burn your two DVD-R's)
tat the parts where im stuck.... i saved the ifo files and done the same for dsic2, now how do i do "get VTS sector on both disc folders? please explain to me step by step if you could...and afterward can i burn it with primodvd? just load the VIDEO_TS folder??

    thank for your time

  2. Ok....i assume that u have 2 folders now, both containing main movie files+video_ts.ifo and vts_01_0.ifo files. If you want to get vts sectors, you have to do it to both folders.start up ifo edit and open video_ts.ifo in the first folder of your dvd rip.Hit "get vts sectors".Say ok to any boxes that pop up.you shouldnt have to save the ifo's because ifo edit does it automatically.DO EXACTLY THE SAME TO THE SECOND FOLDER! Dont forget to adjust the number of chapters for the second disc and adjust accordingly. This should be explained in more detail in which ever guide you were following.dont give up cos u are on the right track.
I use nero to burn my discs.i make a new udf/iso dvd project and drag my video ts folder to it and burn away.Let me know if u have any probs.
Also let me know what film u are trying to copy.

  4. Well me old mate. You must be doing something right,if it played on your pc!.....double check that your stand alone player can actually play dvd-r discs.i have a fairly old sony player, which i use to play films upstairs,it is sooo picky about which copies it will play.my newer sony player i have downstairs will play anything i copy.Might be an idea to try your copy on another player, perhaps a freinds.if it plays then you will know that its ok,and just your player thats not compatible.also check the brand of dvd-r u are using....some are a bit duff.mind you,i use the cheapest going(bulkpaq)and havent had any problems so far.
