  3. I try use Taiyo Yuden or Mitsumi. They are the best CDR's, in my opinion.

    Yamaha, Sony, and Imation are also good too.

    except i don't think any those places make their own, in fact sony is usually taiyo yuden and yamaha is mitsui, but not necessarily always.

    taiyo yuden and mitsui are both manufacturers so you always know what you're getting if you buy those but you'll most likely have to order them as i've never seen a store that sells them, at least not under those names.

    taiyo yuden are probably the most likely to work in DVD and CD players since they use the blue dye. (silver/blue discs being the most compatible)

    for mistui i usually go to http://www.cdrplanet.com

    the mistui discs are more expensive but i guess the green discs are supposed to last longer. though its something like the difference of a disc thats supposed to last over 70 years to one that's supposed to last around 100, the gold/green discs possibly lasting the longest because gold is more stable than silver. of course you'd have a hard time telling the difference between that and a gold/blue disc since blue dye is going to look green on a gold disc.
