    Hi - Just a quick problem (hopefully)

    I have just recently put Win XP on my machine - (866 Mhtz, Pent 3) and it will not recognize my CD-R drive as a burner - just a regular CD-ROM.

    I have an Mitsumi 4801 (TE I think?) it is old but worked fine for me on Win ME, I have tried removing the hardware then re-intstalling it. I can't find a driver for it anywhere - does anyone know where i can get one - or if the is a MS one anywhere???

    Go to the manufacturer of your CDRW drive for any new drivers needed for XP support. If there are none, get a new drive.
