  1. I am trying to use TMPGenc but when I go to load avi file it says "cannot open or unsupported".

I have used TMPGenc before on a different PC and never had any problems with it, what shall I do?

    Thanks

  4. Open in Virtualdub & get the file information.

If the Audio is something like "unsupported 2000" then look at the DIVX with AC3 audio guide on this site. If not then post the specs so we can pinpoint it.

    Search Comp PM
Up the rpiorirty level of your Direct Show Media Plugin.

Open TMPG - go to OPTIONS - ENVIRO SETTINGS - VFAPI TAB - RT CLICK on DIRECTSHOW MED FILTER - RAISE Priority Level till it'll open it

That is if you're sure you have the codecs installed as stated above.
