I've made an SVCD of about 50 mins of a film using TDVD2AVI and MPGEnc. I burnt it as an SVCD using Nero. It plays on the PC but not on my Mustek V560. The company I bought it from reckon it should play no problem. It says "loading disc", displays the number 1 and that is it. Any help appreciated. (I've had a lot of success with DVDs. )

Try burning to a CD-RW instead of a CD-R. They use different laser wavelengths or something. A lot of players will not play VCDs burned onto CD-Rs but will successfully play ones burned onto CD-RWs.
