I wonder if it's possible to save a project in VCDeasy, because sometime it takes hours to complete a complex VCD. Thoose XML-files can be saved but can you use them somehow to load all work from before with all settings for timeouts etc.? Not just for burning the VCD but to edit it again.

Nope - there's no way to reload a project. Your only option would be to save the xml, and edit it in a text editor. Once your done, you can use the xml to generate the bin/cue.
If you haven't already, check out daemon tools (see the tools section). It allows you to "preview" the bin/cue, so you can see how the VCD will play before you burn.
