    is it possible to burn an svcd onto a dvd-r using a standered cd writter and if so will it play on my dvd player ?
    thanx 4 any advice

    you need dvd burner to burn on dvdr.
    and you cant burn a svcd as you burn on cdr on a dvdr.
    but you can author the svcd as a dvd www.vcdhelp.com/svcddvdr.htm.
