Question in regards to finding a quality "Clones" Divx..

First off, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum--I looked (and might have missed it) for a more appropriate place and couldn't find it.

I REALLY appreciate all the help I have found on here---I went from knowing nothing to ripping DVD's and creating VCD's in a matter of hours.

However, I was on here a few days ago and saw someone post some of the "coded" titles which you can find the Episode II (which I would only look for just for entertainment purposes--I would never dream of downloading it ) However, when I looked around in WINMX and other places (like USENET) I walked away finding nothing.

I appreciate at any experience you may have had in your searches. And once again, sorry if this is in the wrong place--feel free to scold me loudly in front of the others if it's warranted.

I always use kazaa to dl "things".

I am still new to the whole vcd thing as well.

But a ? if you might, and i apologize if this is also in thee wrong forum, but what is usenet?

I had no problem finding a Divx version of "Clones" on Winmx had it 4 days before the movie hit the theaters. Not very good quality but good enough for entertaiment purposes only, make sure you have at least Divx 4.12, and the divx player also since thats the only way you can preview unless you downloaded the entire file.

What did you search with? I put in "Clones" or "Attack of the clones" under the video tab and all I ended up with was either nothing (literally) or some Divx/mpg files of like, an hour worth of the Scorpion King Trailer (lamers!)

USENET is like a non-live chat group of individuals discussing specific topics. You can typically configure your email to subscribe to USENET groups based on what topics you would like to view. I apologize for not having a link to provide you with more detail, but if you go do a search on the web, there are plenty of educational sites that can get ya "schooled" on things.

As for Kazaa, I used to love that place but I just couldn't deal with the Spyware. I dropped it and now that Morpheus has such a typical high hop count between servers, I can't get anything big from them.

I now use Limewire and Winmx. Yeah, Limewire has spyware but it's easily removed with no degradation in performance.

franklin: i just typed in star wars episode 2.......i got alot of hits with it, some were previews, and some were misnamed files.

as for the spyware in kazaa, i do aggree it is annoying, but its the best thing i have found so far.

I think you guys are talking about pop ups on kazaa - those annoying ads that POP UP - well alls you need is an anti pop up program you can download from DOWNLOAD.COM - it will fix all your problems.

I got EP 2 off of Kazaa - not good quality, I recommend you go see it in the theater since it is a very KICKASS movie. Better than Spidey in my opnion. But thats just my opinion. Dont get me wrong, i have always been a big sam raimi fan but, STARWARS is alot better.

Why dont you guys download Kazaa Lite. This has all the spyware removed and connects in a fraction of the time.

that's a good combo, and you'll end up with much better download speeds than just using kazaa or grokster or...

I did a search for "Star Wars Episode 2" on WinMX yesterday and got 160 replies. Don't know why you can't find any!

There is no "quality" release of Clones yet. All of the ones flooting around are CAMs and look like sh!t.

Yeah, I found a copy on Kazaa last night.

Knew it'd look like crap but was excited anyway. And then after three hours of downloading 700 megs, I'm now the proud owner of Disney's Atlantis.

I don't know what kind of kick people get out of mislabeling movies and watching you download them. Whooopee.

Now my WInMX isn't working at all. Don't know what's wrong with the damn thing.
