    I need to purchase a DVD/VHS combined unit. Please help, which one out there will play VCD, SVCD? Does Apex make a dual unit? Have not had much luck figuring out which ones play those media types. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Why are you needing a combo unit becuse unless its for a specific reason i would steer clear from one.

    A combo dvd/vcr unit? I did'nt know they existed. Anyway i would agree with jexster, i would steer well clear of such units. what happens if the vcr or dvd part of the unit breaks down? I don't think you could get it fixed.
