Did anyone else get the mintek 7" portable dvd player at BB. It seems to be a decent player especially for the price and screen size. It plays all my SVCD cdr's I recorded using DVD2SVCD. Also plays vbr MP3 recorded using musicmatch jukebox. However I couldn't get it to play foreign non-region 1 DVD's. In the menus it has the option to change language and locale which doesn't do anything in allowing it to play foreign DVD's. Battery for this thing is short lasting about 3hrs. before needing a 6 hour recharge.
