  1. i am new at this, today is my first day. i read the guide on dvd to vcd and i downloaded all of the programs suggested. i was able to rip the dvd (smart ripper) and then i was able to use dvd2avi. after this the guide tells me to use TMPGEnc - Wizard (v2.50 +). in this program, the guide says to select the d2v file as the video file and the wav or mp3 file as the audio file using the wizard. when i try to do this, it will not let me select the d2v file for the video file. i get and error that it can not be open or is not supported. i am stuck, i tried doing it twice, but both times i got the same answer.

    i need help

    thanks

Remember that these TMPG and vfapi should be all in same folder for install to work.....I have also down loaded a bad vfapi and installer once...
So if above does not work....try downloading from another location and try that.
