  1. Hi, I just burnt a VCD (or at least I think I did) using VCDEasy. I can play the DAT files on my comp, however, I'm also under the impression that a CD-i player with a DV cartridge can play VCDs. I own a Philips MAGNAVOX CD-i 200 Compact Disc Interactive with a Digital Video (DV) cartridge. For some reason, when I put in the VCD and press play, it just takes me back to the opening CD-i menu. Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanx.

    Additional info:
My operating system is Windows XP.
I use a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 to burn my stuff.
I have Cable Modem so downloading progs and media is no problem.
    More info in my profile.

  2. Do your VCDs have the CD-i program app & support files? Some burners ignore adding these. A program like VCDeasy or TSCV will add them - I think Nero will also.

  3. Thanx for replying so quickly kitty. I just browsed the files on the VCD and I don't think so. The only folders I found were: EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, and VCD. Is there a way for me to add CD-i program app & support files manually for future VCDs? Or better yet, set up my application so that it does it automatically? I use VCDEasy. Again, thank you for replying.
