i am trying to burn a file(svcd) with vcd easy v1.0.8 ,and i keep getting the error of: invalid mpeg packet found. i have tried mux/demux,mpeg corrector,but nothing seems to work. is there any way to burn this so i can watch it on my stand alone dvd player ?

Some authoring programs are inexplicably fussy about the video clips they'll accept. Try using Nero instead.

in vcdeasy, there should be a checkbox toward the bottom of the screen tha says "perform some MPEG checks" (something like that)Originally Posted by tenders

I am new at this. I have captured a 60 clip from VHS with VirtualDup (350x240 vcd format). The clip played ok on the computer. Then I tried to burn it to VCD with Nero 5.5 and the sound is out of syn. Any suggestions is appreciated.
My computer:
PIII 600
windows xp
Ati 64DDR Vivo
28 gig main drive
20 gig 7200rpm for capturing
