I have a Panasonic DVD player standalone, and I would like to know why after having burned a rom with Nero 5 Platnium, the VCD will not read properly in the DVD standalone player. I keep wasting rom's. Can anyone tell me what to do to make these rom's readable for my standalone DVD player?
ANY help very appreciated.

A VCD is NOT a CD-ROM.
A VCD is a specially formatted disk with a special file structure. To make a VCD you do not simply slap a mpeg file onto a CD-ROM, but you have to use the correct CD burning software or VCD template in Nero to make a VCD.
