i have two movie parts, one 14.99993 and the other 14.99813 fps
i've used virtualdub's frame cripplin/decimation but to no avail
power peck joins the files but cuts about 30% of the second part
any suggestions

Do you want to join the files?
Try this:
Open the first file in VirtualDub. Set the frame rate to 15 fps. Save the AVI to a new file.
Do the same for the other half.
Open the first created AVI file. Append the Second AVI segment. Now save the Final AVI.
If you are constrained for space, you can try using AVISynth. Use AssumeFPS or ChangeFPS on the original clips.
