    hello,

    from a ripped (with smartripper) .vob file I ripped the subtitle .bmp files (with subrip) and added them to the encoded .vob -> .mpg (svcd) file with winsubmux.

    Now winsubmux says he added the .bmp files and I see that the destination-file is bigger than the source file but with playback of the .mpg file the subtitles don't show up. When I start PowerDVD player I can't select any subtitle-stream.

    someone recognizes this problem and can help me with this?

    Currently there is no software player that can show it. Olny some hardware DVD player can show it.

    ow, weird, didn't know that... I thought every software dvdplayer do see those streams like with real DVD's.

    I will test it with my standalone dvd player
