  1. Hi,

    I know you have probably answered this before, but i can't find it anywhere.......

    I just created a vcd using nero.........it went through all the routines and said it was successful........but when i try to play the disc.....even though it obviously has been burned onto.......its blank....and can't be played at all........

    HELP!!! :P

    It can't be played with the same CD writer drive it was made with......or my dvd rom drive.......!!

    I used NTI and that burned and played ok.......

    Its just a .dat file i copied to my hard drive from a vcd i own......no encoding!!!

    But why is nero "burning" but not......

    Am i just imagining that i am actually here burning discs......

    did you try to just do a disc copy instead of copying just the dat file and burning that to a disc? there's more to a vcd than just the dat file. if all you have is the dat, I think you can just rename to .mpg, and use that to make your vcd.(there might be more to getting the .mpg...try searching this site for how to do that)
