CD-R brands for Samsung SV-DVD1E?

Hi,

I've burned a VCD in these conditions:

Recording software: Nero
Burner:Yamaha CRW4414E
CD-R brand: Intenso

The VCD plays choppy end freezes everynow and then.

Any recomendations about CD-R brands to use?
