    I am using MMC 7.1.

It won't let me capture at more than XXX x 240.

    I want to make SVCDs.

I remember someone saying something about this in the "Capture Card List" for this card but it is gone. :(

    Thanks..

  2. Here is what I do to change the height and width. First go and set up a custom setting in ati pick 320x240 or what ever is close give your custom setting a name so you can remember it. then go to start run and type regedit. now select local machine. click the +software then click +ati next click multimedia then features then +tv then +video capture. Now you will see a folder called custom open the folder. from here you will see on your right the height and the width size you selected earlier. it will be the last number on that string. to change the height and width you need to right click the height select modify select decimal box then at this point put in 480 and select ok. do the same with the width right click width select modify select decimal put in 352 and select ok. You are done just x out. let me know because this will work.

    kjmacke....

    No luck... Didn't work.

The reg. entries for this wasn't like yours. Different version? It was in current user. And the folder it makes for custom presets is under MPEG then some crazy set of letters and numbers for the preset I made. Anyways, I found it.

When ever I would edit the Height (w x h) of the custom preset I made to what I want (480x480 for SVCD) it would be gone when I would go back to select it for custom. I guess it would delete it.

    Thanks anyways,

  4. In your custom setting it will never show 480x480 but in the registry it will always be there. Just capture some video then on playback check to see the size. To tell the difference the video will look interlaced because of the 480x480 capture also the file will be bigger compared to 352x240.
