stream detector ext failed

hi there, stream detector is amazing extension, but old project (2 years ago the latest update) and today failed for many sites ... sad
do you know some valid alternative? we have a lot's from chrome web store, but i don't have time to try them all. thanks

If easy fixes like disabling and turning it on again don't work, try yt-dlp. Just install and provide the URL in your terminal like so: yt-dlp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbJOTdZBX1g -t sleep

If that doesn't work due to unsupported URL, you can try manual network inspection for requests that contain a URL and directly feeding it to yt-dlp for downloading. That's either in the Network tab of browser developer tools or I've had success using mitmproxy to intercept traffic, searching for '.m3u8', '.mpd', '.mp4', '.ts', and copying the right stream URL from there into yt-dlp.
