How to decrypt crave videos?

Hey all, I'm terribly sorry for the n00b question but I tried figuring this out myself and am completely lost.

I looked in this thread because I know crave uses widevine, and I got the extension installed on chrome and then... brick wall. I couldn't even figure out where to get the .wvd file, and not from lack of looking. I tried searching for "Widevine Device file" in the thread and found a link to another thread that had CDM files, but I have no clue if these are what I'm looking for and if so how to use them.

This is me trying to figure this out.


Can anyone recommend a n00b guide for how to do this stuff? Preerrably one that doesn't required a pHd to understand it? 🤣 Once again sorry to bother.
