    I've been using Handbrake for hard encoding subtitles on to videos for the past 2 years. However, when I uploaded to Version 1.9.0 the app stopped working. Nothing happens when I click on the desktop icon. I have .NET Runtime 8.0 downloaded. I would be highly obliged for any advice.

    Search PM
    Delete this folder:
    C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\HandBrake
    (where XXX is your username in Windows)

    Then restart Handbrake.
